Our First Singapore Wedding Expo: A Meaningful Milestone for JP Wedding
Every new journey begins with a first step, and for us, this July marked an exciting milestone.
JP Wedding was proud to participate in Hitcheed Wedding Wonderland 2026, our very first wedding expo in Singapore.
After more than 12 years helping couples plan their dream weddings in Japan from Hong Kong, and over a year of preparing for our expansion into Singapore, it was incredibly rewarding to finally meet local couples in person.
Meeting Singapore Couples Face to Face
One of the highlights of the expo was the opportunity to speak directly with couples who were exploring the idea of a wedding in Japan.
Some visitors had already dreamed of saying "I do" in a European-style chapel, while others were discovering for the first time that Japan offers an incredible range of elegant wedding venues, exceptional hospitality, and beautifully designed banquet experiences.
Every conversation reminded us that no two couples are alike. Understanding their priorities, answering their questions, and sharing practical advice reinforced what we have always believed — that every wedding should be thoughtfully tailored to the couple behind it.
A Valuable Learning Experience
As our first event in Singapore, the expo also gave us valuable insights into the local wedding market.
We gained a deeper understanding of what Singapore couples value most when considering an overseas wedding, from venue selection and guest experience to planning support and overall value. These conversations will help us continue refining our services as we grow our presence in Singapore.
More importantly, it was encouraging to see genuine interest in the quality, elegance, and unique experience that Japanese weddings can offer.
